Purpose: to aid users in their piping design by providing Classes 900, 1500, and 2500, flanged globe-style control valve dimensions, without giving special consideration to the equipment manufacturer to be used. Comments due by 7 April 2025.

  • ISA-75.08.07-202x, Face-to-Face Dimensions for Separable Flanged Globe-Style Control Valves (Classes 150, 300, and 600). Purpose: to aid users in their piping design by providing Classes 150, 300, and 600 raised face separable flanged control valve dimensions without giving special consideration to the equipment manufacturer to be used. Comments due by 7 April 2025.

  • ISA-75.08.08-2015 (R202x), Face-to-Centerline Dimensions for Flanged Globe-Style Angle Control Valve Bodies (Classes 150, 300, and 600). Purpose: to aid users in their piping design by providing Classes 150, 300, and 600 raised-face flanged globe-style angle control valve face-to-centerline dimensions without giving special considerations to the equipment manufacturer to be used. Comments due by 7 April 2025.

  • ISA-101.01 (IEC 63303 Modified)-202x, Human machine interfaces for process automation systems (national adoption with modifications of IEC 63303:2024). Purpose: to adopt with modifications the recently published IEC 63303. Comments due by 10 February 2025.

  • ISA-75.08.03-2001 (R202x), Face-to-Face Dimensions for Socket Weld-End and Screwed-End Globe-Style Control Valves (Classes 150, 300, 600, 900, 1500, and 2500) (reaffirmation of ANSI/ISA-75.08.03-2001 (R2013)). Purpose: to aid users in their piping designs for socket weld-end globe-style control valves and screwed-end globe-style control valves, having top, top and bottom, port, or cage guiding. Comments due by 16 December 2024.

  • ISA-75.08.04-2007 (R202x), Face-to-Face Dimensions for Buttweld-End Globe-Style Control Valves (Class 4500) (reaffirmation of ANSI/ISA-75.08.04-2007 (R2013)). Purpose: to aid users in their piping designs for buttweld-end globe-style control valves, having top and cage guiding. Comments due by 16 December 2024.

  • ISA-60534-8-2 (75.07.02)-202x, Industrial-Process Control Valves – Part 8-2: Noise considerations – Laboratory measurement of noise generated by hydrodynamic flow through control valves (identical national adoption of IEC 60534-8-2). Purpose: to explain the method for measuring the sound pressure level due to liquid flow through a control valve and the method for determining the characteristic increase of noise due to the onset of cavitation. Comments due by 9 December 2024.

  • ISA-96.09.01-202x, Guidelines for the Specification of Mounting Hardware for Quarter Turn Valve Actuators (new standard). Purpose: to specify design requirements and basic quality protocol for interface hardware and adapters of quarter-turn actuators and valves. Comments due by 4 November 2024.

  • ISA-84.91.03-202x, Functional Safety: Process Safety Controls, Alarms, and Interlocks as Protection Layers (new standard). Purpose: to set forth requirements for achieving functional safety using process safety controls, alarms, and interlocks as protection layers excluding process safety alarms. Comments due by 4 November 2024.

  • ISA-96.03.03-202x, Guidelines for the Specification of Pneumatic Vane Type Valve Actuators (new standard). Purpose: to provide guidelines for specifying pneumatic vane type valve actuators used in industrial applications. Comments due by 3 June 2024.

  • ​ISA-62443-2-1-202x, Security for industrial automation and control systems, Part 2-1: Security program requirements for IACS asset owners (new standard). Purpose: to specify asset owner security program policy and procedure requirements for an industrial automation and control system in operation. Comments due by 13 May 2024.

  • ISA-96.03.03-202x, Guidelines for the Specification of Pneumatic Vane Type Valve Actuators. Purpose: to provide guidelines for specifying pneumatic vane type valve actuators used in industrial applications. Comments due by 3 June 2024.

  • ISA-95.00.01 (IEC 62264-1 Mod)-202x, Enterprise-Control System Integration Part 1: Models and Terminology, a national adoption of IEC 62264-1 with modifications and revision of ANSI/ISA-95.00.01 (IEC 62264-1 Modified)-2010. Purpose: to define the interfaces between enterprise activities and control activities. This standard is Part 1 of a series of standards (ISA-95/IEC 62264), and it provides standard terminology and a consistent set of concepts and models for integrating control systems with enterprise systems that will improve communications between all parties involved. Comments due by 3 June 2024.

  • ISA-75.27.01-202x, Cryogenic and Low Temperature Seat Leakage Testing of Control Valves. Purpose: to provide a method of cryogenic and low temperature seat leak testing of sliding stem control valves needed within the cryogenic industries. Comments due by 29 April 2024.

  • ISA-75.10.01-202x, General Requirements for Clamp or Pinch Valves (revision of ANSI/ISA-75.10.01-2013). Purpose: to establish the following requirements for clamp or pinch valves: (a) tests for pressure-retaining parts and shutoff integrity prior to shipment, (b) marking requirements, and (c) procedures for determining the flow coefficient and other related sizing factors. Comments due by 15 April 2024.

  • ISA-75.10.02-20xx, Installed Face-to-Face Dimensions for Dual Pinch Flanged Clamp or Pinch Valves (Classes 125 and 150) (reaffirmation of ANSI/ISA 75.10.02-2014). Purpose: to aid users in piping design by providing installed face-to-face dimensions for control valves that incorporate clamp or pinch elements and have flanges that mate with ANSI B16.1 Class 125 and/or ANSI B16.5 Class 150 flanges. Comments due by 15 April 2024.

  • ISA-75.10.03-20xx, Installed Face-to-Face Dimensions for Shell and Tube Flanged Pinch Valves (Classes 125 and 150) (reaffirmation of ANSI/ISA 75.10.03-2015). Purpose: to aid users in their piping design by providing installed face-to-face dimensions for pinch valves, of the shell and tube design, without giving special consideration to the manufacturer of the equipment to be used. Comments due by 15 April 2024.

  • ISA-75.19.01-202x, Hydrostatic Testing of Control Valves. Purpose: to establish requirements and definitions for standard hydrostatic shell testing of control valves by the valve manufacturer to prove the structural integrity and leak tightness of the valves’ pressure-retaining parts, including any closure parts such as the valve body to bonnet joint, but excluding packings, bellows, or other moving seals, and packing leakoff/purge/vent port connections. Comments due by 11 March 2024.

  • ISA-67.04.01-2018 (R202x), Setpoints for Nuclear Safety-Related Instrumentation (reaffirmation of ANSI/ISA 67.04.01-2018). Purpose: to define the requirements for assessing, establishing, and maintaining nuclear safety-related and other important instrument setpoints associated with nuclear power plants or nuclear reactor facilities. The scope includes instrumentation-based setpoints that assure compliance to one or more safety or design limits. Comments due by 12 February 2024.

  • ISA-96.08.01-202x, Guidelines for the Specification of Linear and Rotary Gas Over Oil Valve Actuators (revision of ANSI/ISA-96.08.01-2017). Purpose: to provide basic requirements for mechanical integrity, selection and sizing of gas over oil actuators, both rotary and linear, provided in double and single acting designs. Actuators for rotative applications may include scotch yoke type, rotary vane type, or helical spline. For linear applications, actuators shall be of the linear hydraulic design. Comments due by 12 February 2024.

  • ISA-5.1-2024, Instrumentation and Control – Symbols and Identification (revision of ANSI/ISA-5.1-2022). Purpose: to establish a uniform means of designating instruments and instrumentation systems used for industrial process measurement and control. This designation system includes symbols and an identification code. Comments due by 12 February 2024.

  • ISA-75.25.01-202x, Test Procedure for Control Valve Response Measurement from Step Inputs. Purpose: to define how to test, evaluate, and report the response of a control valve to a step input change. This standard is intended for use with throttling control valves in closed or open loop control applications. Comments due by 12 February 2024.

  • ISA-75.08.01-202x, Face-to-Face Dimensions for Integral Flanged Globe-Style Control Valve Bodies (Classes 125, 150, 250, 300, and 600). Purpose: to aid users in their piping design by providing flange, face-to-face control valve dimensions, without giving special consideration of the equipment manufacturer to be used. Comments due by 11 December 2023.

  • ISA-75.08.02-202x, Face-to-Face Dimensions for Flanged and Flangeless Rotary Control Valves (Classes 150, 300, and 600, and PN 10, PN 16, PN 25, PN 40, PN 63 and PN 100). Purpose: to aid users in their piping designs for flanged and flangeless control valves by providing valve face-to-face dimensions without giving special consideration to the equipment manufacturer to be used. Comments due by 11 December 2023.

  • ISA-77.44.01-202x, Fossil Fuel Power Plant Steam Temperature Controls. Purpose: to address the major steam temperature control subsystems in boilers with steaming capacities of 200,000 lb/hr (25 kg/s) or greater. Comments due by 20 November 2023.

  • ISA-75.25.01-202x, Test Procedure for Control Valve Response Measurement from Step Inputs. Purpose: to define how to test, evaluate, and report the response of a control valve to a step input change. Comments due by 22 September 2023.

  • ISA-96.03.02-202x, Guidelines for the Specification of Pneumatic Rack and Pinion Valve Actuators (revision of ANSI/ISA-96.03.02-2015). Purpose: to provide general requirements for the development of specifications for pneumatic rack and pinion actuators. Comments due by 11 September 2023.

  • ISA-96.03.03-202x, Guidelines for the Specification of Pneumatic Vane Type Valve Actuators. Purpose: to provide guidelines for specifying pneumatic vane type valve actuators used in industrial applications. Comments due by 11 September 2023.

  • ISA-18.1-202x, Annunciator Sequences and Specifications. Purpose: to establish uniform annunciator terminology, sequence designations, and sequence presentation and to assist in the preparation of annunciator specifications and documentation. Comments due by 4 September 2023.
